I made two promo videos for myself. For the first, I recorded myself with my iPhone, used a green screen, and edited the footage in CapCut. For the second, I used AI tools and orchestrated everything with Codex.
They are part of my small marketing experiments to introduce myself and share my work. Here are both videos and how I made them.
First video: iPhone, green screen, and CapCut
The first video is called “Who are you?” I filmed myself on my iPhone in front of a green screen, then put the edit together in CapCut.
The green screen let me place myself into the scene. My own recording became part of the finished promo:
Watch “Who are you?” on YouTube
Second video: AI tools and Codex
The second video is called “Need a Website or App?” I made it with Runway, Suno, and images created with ChatGPT. I orchestrated the whole process with Codex, bringing the tools together for one promo video.
I have also written about making songs and music videos with Suno and Runway. This project brought those creative tools into my own self-promotion:
Watch “Need a Website or App?” on YouTube
Two different ways to make a video, with the same goal: putting myself and my work out there. You can see the projects behind the promos on my Work page.
