I went to Vercel Ship SF 2026, met cool people, and learned a lot. But what stayed with me most was the design.
The Vercel design team blew me away. The stage, the spaces, the backstage details, and the way everything came together felt like being at a Balenciaga fashion show. Every detail felt perfectly designed and orchestrated.
I had never been this impressed by a tech event. It felt like stepping inside Vercel itself and seeing what technology could look and feel like from the inside out.
I also met Malte Ubl, Vercel’s CTO, and Evil Rabbit, who leads Vercel’s Creative Studio. I’ve been a big fan of Evil Rabbit’s work for a long time and always wanted to meet him. That dream finally came true, and I’m so happy.
He also replied to my post on X:
Evil Rabbit replied: “so great meeting you! 🙏”
I also met orcdev, whose work I’ve followed for a long time. He’s very active in the React and shadcn/ui community, and it was great to finally meet him in person. He gave me a 25% discount on Shipper Club, and I’m planning to sign up soon.
I left with new ideas, great memories, and even more appreciation for the people behind the work.
