shadcn followed me on X! He also promised to give me his autograph. Seeing that notification made my day.
This started with a simple autograph request, which I shared in my earlier post. Here’s my reaction to the follow:
“Omg. I can't believe it.” — Tim
The conversations
I first asked him to sign my shirt in June 2025. He replied, “Someone hire Tim.” That support meant a lot to me.
My original request: “@shadcn can I get your autograph on my new t-shirt? Font: Geist Mono. Logo: v0. Theme: Light Mode.”
shadcn replied: “Someone hire Tim.”
In January, I followed up with help from Pauline at Vercel. His reply: “Bookmarked 😃”
My follow-up: “I'll try my luck. Any update on this? @paw_lean”
shadcn replied: “Bookmarked 😃”
I checked in again in May with a photo of the shirt:
“Can I get your autogramm on my new t-shirt? I respect your privacy, and I can drop off it anywhere you want.” — Tim
Now there’s a follow and an autograph to look forward to. Thank you, shadcn!
